A hunter keeps a look out in front of camouflaged hut in the woods. These cabins, which are often several kilometres apart, enable the hunters to roam freely around the woodpigeon roost without disturbing the flying birds. When the birds fly past they try to position woodpigeons in the tree tops to lure others by their call. The birds are hoisted using artisanal methods. Among those woodpigeons captured the previous year, the most beautiful will be used as lures to call other birds.
